Please help resolve a music argument

I hope that a small survey of JKB will help resolve a, so far, interminable discussion:

If I say the name Elvis Presley; which one of his songs springs to your mind first?

(And I mean Elvis Aaron Presley, the King of Rock'n'Roll (1935-1977) - I'm not starting another "Judas"/"chest-thumping" thread).

Your help, dear friends, is greatly appreciated.

Hound Dog was the first song that came to me.

I don't much like Elvis, but Love Me Tender and Suspicious Minds have something about about them.

Suspicious Minds was my first thought.

American Trilogy.

From the 68 comeback special, with the white suite and the red lights spelling his name behind him.

Feck knows why but Love Me Tender immediately sprung to mind.

No need to explain or analyse, i only need the first Elvis song to come into your head.

Was this just some sick practical joke to see how many people you can get to complain about having Elvis songs stuck in their head? I've been whistling "Suspicious Minds" all morning now...:ahhhhhhh:

All of you who said 'Suspicios Minds' are totally wrong.

As everyone knows this was a Fine young Cannibals song.

I promise it wasn't.

I was having a discussion with someone who made a claim about one particular song being the one that most people would associate initially with Elvis. I thought it unlikely that there would be just the one or even that 75% of folk would gravitate towards only one and it seems that I have some evidence to support that.

When you're whistling Suspicious Minds, do you do the fade out/fade back in bit? Could be worse, you could be doing Are You Lonesome Tonight - what would you do when you got to the rap bit: 'you know, zzomeone zzaid all the world's a stage....' Now, that would be sick!
