Is anyone with greater knowledge of the Under 20's than I able to manipulate that lot into the likely shape they'll play? Got tons of work to do tonght so will follow this with great interest to distract myself.

Think he made his comeback last week in the defeat to Motherwell.

Ridgers in goals.

Smith, Ford McGhee and Beith in defence.

King, King, Wilson Simpson in midfield.

Oliver and Buchanan up front.

Maybe!

Just a guess if it's a 4-4-2.

Billy King could move forward from midfield if it's a 4-3-3.

Thanks, just had a look and we're favourites if anyone fancies a punt.....

I'll predict 2-2 draw

Kai Wilson will be centre half with Jordan McGhee, Elliot Ford will be left back and Jack Simpson will be in midfield with Beith & the Kings...

Hearts were up against a hard working side, the elements and the referee once again particularly in the first half.

Hamilton with the wind and rain at their backs started the better and pushed Hearts back, but the first controversial decision came after 7 minutes when Robbie Buchanan was clattered by the keeper 25 yards out. The ref decided it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity as there was a defender getting back (maybe so, but there was no keeper in the goal FFS).

However Hearts opened the scoring after 11minutes when Billy King squared for Angus Beith to score from 15 yards (unusually with his right foot).

The second controversial incident came after 32 mins when Gary Oliver looked to break clear of the defence, but was initially held round the chest then had his jersey pulled, by El Zubaidi. Gary eventually got away from the defender at which point the ref played "advantage", by which time another defender got back and the chance was snuffed out. Again it could have been a red card, as Gary would have been clear had he not been impeded. El Zubaidi was eventually booked after the ball went out of play, but both Robbie Neison and Gary Locke weren't happy with the ref.

Hearts had defended pretty well against the elements, but conceded a goal after 38 minutes. A free kick on the right eventally reached Andy Ryan beyond the back post and he shot low past Ridgers.

The wind and raid died down somewhat at half time which meant Hearts had less of an advantage in the second half. However the got themselves back in front after 50 minutes with a nice move where Angus Beith fed Gary Oliver at the edge of the box and Gary side stepped a defender and thumped the ball past the keeper to put Hearts 2-1 up.

Hearts looked pretty comfortable sitting on their lead, but conceded a penalty after 70 minutes when Kai Wilson was adjudged to have brought down Andy Ryan as the striker ran into the left side of the box. Greg Docherty scored from the spot, sending Mark Ridgers the wrong way.

The goal seems to knock the confidence out off the Hearts side and Hamilton had the best of the chances in the last quarter. They eventually got what proved to be the winner after 83 minutes again from Andy Ryan with a similar goal to his opener, this time from a corner on the right and the ball fell to him beyond the back post and he hit an angle shot past Ridgers into the corner of the net.

Best for Hearts were Ridgers, McGhee, Beith and Oliver.

Great effort with the reports football first. Really quite enjoying reading them and seeing how the young lads get on.
