Trained with them today, sounds like he's got a half-decent chance of a deal. Turned down an offer from QPR apparently.

Magic Numbers

Why on earth would he do that?

Maybe something to do with the "Rangers" bit. Couldn't bring himself to do it. Brought back memories of Fat Sally. Had to say :nozal: Biding his time til February IMO...

If he doesn't have a club by the end of January we'll have him back.

What are we going to pay him with, Magic beans?

Only reason he left in the first place is because we couldn't even afford half what he was already on.

Why on earth would he do that?

He probably wants a guarantee to be first pick, which he certainly wouldn't get at QPR.

Zal played in a development (reserve) match today v Sheffield Wednesday. He had a steady first half as Leeds went in 2-0 up. Sheffield Wednesday pulled a goal back before Leeds made it 3-1. Then in the last 15 minutes Zal was a bit shaky as Wednesday scored twice. FT 3-3.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Zal is impressed with Leeds and a decision will be made by Thursday on whether he will be offered a contract.

Nae need for the Zaliukas slagging, imo. Hope he gets a deal, game time and a decent wage, while doing well in the eyes of the Leeds fans.

Good luck Cap'n.

I don't think many Leeds players can afford to live in Harrogate nowadays, hope he knows this.

His boss Steven Pressley! Accurate report :toilet:

My god, this will upset the bitter snake haters.

While on the subject of Steven Pressley, well done on his efforts recently on turning round the fortunes of Coventry City, he knows what he is doing, also bringing down Darren Murray is a masterstroke, well done Captain Elvis. steven-pressley.jpg

That's more like it.

Thought he was a MODEDIT when I seen him wearing that blue crap in the weej last month.

But then he totally redeemed himself by telling them to ram it!

A legend right enough.

Is he still a mercenary since he turned down Rangers?

The only reason he turned down rangers was that they offered him a 4 month deal at 1k a week. Yes, you did read that correctly. The whole thing was a stunt from rangers to pretend that they have money and are still chasing the dream etc, with big Zal an unwitting patsy.

You say that with the authority of someone who knows this for a fact. How do you know this? I would imagine only a very small group of people would be privy to such information.
