Only reason he left in the first place is because we couldn't even afford half what he was already on.

HeadrowJambo
Zal played in a development (reserve) match today v Sheffield Wednesday. He had a steady first half as Leeds went in 2-0 up. Sheffield Wednesday pulled a goal back before Leeds made it 3-1. Then in the last 15 minutes Zal was a bit shaky as Wednesday scored twice. FT 3-3. According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Zal is impressed with Leeds and a decision will be made by Thursday on whether he will be offered a contract. poggs
Is he still a mercenary since he turned down Rangers? The only reason he turned down rangers was that they offered him a 4 month deal at 1k a week. Yes, you did read that correctly. The whole thing was a stunt from rangers to pretend that they have money and are still chasing the dream etc, with big Zal an unwitting patsy.
