Readinv it properly, champ. You're definitely suggesting they should train longer.

Should be In the gym longer at least, hate to go back to spurs but Defoe was bouncing our centre halves about like they were wee girls! Not being as good footballers is acceptable, not being as fit and strong isnt.

Aye, a very physically demanding sport.

It's constant running for every player for the duration of a game, every player attacks and every player defends and the game never seems to slow down.

When we played basketball at school you were far more puggled playing that than football imo.

This man gets it.

Let's face it though, just about anyone is fitter than your average Scottish footballer...

Totally agree with you. When we played Spurs they were miles ahead of us in fitness/strength and stamina. No excuse imo for our players not to be as physically fit as those down south in the EPL.

Guess its all about what aspirations theses lads have. Do this wish to work hard and develop a good career for themselves or do they allow themselves to do the bare minimum and coast into a Graham Weir / Stephen Simmons / Joe Hamill / Robert Sloan / Neil Janacyck style career

Choices choices eh...........

If ye didn`t feel tired after playing football you must have been playing in a shite game , with non triers.

Or you were the non trier.

Diadora Van Basten

I remember discussing Jason Thompson and saying how much better a player he would be if he could cross a ball.

It seems that very few of our players actually work on the individual aspects of their game.

The under 20's are in 9-4 daily apart from their days off on a Sunday and Wednesday. What explanation can there be for that and yet the first team are in from 10-12?

Two hours a day, so 90 minutes training and 30 minutes? Warm up/down and a shower!
