The 'regulars' at the Tynie Arms aren't exactly encouraging others to go there and spend money are they.

Watch out guys and girls who nip to the tynie arms for a few after a game, the general doesn't want us there unless we sit and get pished every day of the week there. Unbelievable

The chippy has trackside sponsorship and bought shares in November so they do support Hearts financially.

So we're squids in then?

Tynie Arms is a decent boozer, like.

I'd have thought that the fact it's difficult to get served would prove anything but it's a shite pub.

I once stood for half an hour trying to get served in there while person after person came up after me and got served :( I'm just too wee.

Trust me it isn't your size I have been in The Tynecastle Arms and felt like a 6'3" / 18 stone invisible man standing at the bar on many occasions.

Nice gesture buying the season tickets though :)

don't class myself as a regular but do pop in on my way home from work during the week and staff are fine yes it does get a bit manic on matchdays but if you know the bar staff names it does help, I have been going to the Ardmillan for a good few years before and after matches and yes I do get served before others but only because they recognise me even although i'm a shortarse i just wave my notes above the bar.

at last some sense ......

I have never ever seen you wave notes about !! ...

Regulars in pubs are mostly all arse holes. Fact.

Spot on

If your life revolves round a pub (where everybody knows you're name ) then I'm afraid you don't have much of a life, although most of them will have been aware of that fact for years.

Bit strong. If lots of people in your local know your name then you're an arsehole without much of a life, aye?

I'm hardly ever in any pub now but I've worked at a few and met some of the soundest people I know.

Slagging off folk who regularly drink in pubs.

It's the folk who drink in pubs everyday expecting to be served before anyone else and expecting free pints because they spend half their wages on drink that annoys me.

Sergio Garcia

I've stopped in at the Tynie Arms on match days a few times and never really had a problem getting served.

Regulars will always get served quicker in pubs, mainly as they know the bar staffs name, the bar staff know their order and know itll be hassle free and its good to look after loyal customers. Although a half an hour wait is ridiculous, people will have been back up to the bar in that time getting another drink.
