Letter in today's Times

 

"You say that with his win at Wimbledon Andy Murray brought to an end the longest period of non-achievement in in British sport i.e. 77 years. May I, reluctantly, point out that Hibernian FC have failed to win the Scottish Cup since 1902, a period of 111 years and counting.

 

Since Murray is a long-suffering Hibs supporter the club might approach him for advice on developing a winning culture."

 

Writen by a guy based in Kirkcaldy but I suspect he is a long-suffering Hibs fan.
