Darlington were beaten by Gillingham but as Manchester United didn't take part in the competition because they were involved in the World Club Championship, The Quakers were picked as the 'lucky loser' and pitched against Aston Villa in the third round. He played for W Ham but who are they supposed to play 'derby' matches against ? The only London derby is Spurs & Gooners (OK , stretch it to Chelsea & Spurs in recent years).
