tartofmidlothian
I noticed that the tables on the BBC site list the last ten league games, which is exactly the length of time Gary's been in charge. So I knocked up a quick league table for that period to see how his time in charge compares, it's decent reading for him given our problems. Motherwell - 20 Celtic - 17 St Johnstone - 16 Dundee - 15 Hearts - 14 Hibs - 13 ICT - 12 (-3) Ross County - 12 (-5) Aberdeen - 11 Dundee United - 10 St Mirren - 9 Kilmarnock - 8 Also note that Gary's outperformed Fenlol in his time in charge. Came closer to winning a cup final too.
tartofmidlothian
Couldn't resist doing the same thing for the EPL as well, to prove my own hunch that Liverpool finished strongly. They did. Some shocks in there too, like how well Arsenal did and how badly Swansea fared. Arsenal - 26 Chelsea - 23 Liverpool - 19 (+9) Man City - 19 (+5) Man U - 18 (+6) Everton - 18 (+6) Spurs - 18 (+4) Villa - 17 Southampton - 14 West Ham - 13 Norwich - 12 Wigan - 12 Newcastle - 11 Fulham - 10 West Brom - 9 Stoke - 9 Sunderland - 9 Swansea - 6 QPR - 5 (-7) Reading - 5 (-8)
