Stuart Lyon Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 I am not convinced about the value of these tests. As I said in an earlier post some of the questions seem obscure to say the least. How many UK citizens could tell you the number of days schools must be open - very few I suspect. I think the tests were introduced as a knee-jerk reaction to appease those opposed to immigrants. If someone legally enters the UK and is entitled to work here then a period of residency should be sufficient to grant people citizenship.
