Jambokezza Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Managed to drop the laptop and now the cd drive isn't opening. Went up to PC World but they were gonna charge 50 quid just to look at it! JamboInSouthsea Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 There's usually a very small hole at the bottom of computer's cd drives...if you poke a pin in this opens up the drive...maybe try this first to see if it works and save some dosh. N User Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Do you use the drive that much? There is often a tiny slot on CD drives where you can poke a pin into to manually open the drive.
