Gershwin
Evening all... Anyone use a proxy server at all? Looking to set one up to view some ice hockey on an account I have as they have placed a blackout on some games in the UK that are being shown by another broadcaster. What's best to use? I presume the free ones aren't very good?

Guest GhostHunter
Proxy Solutions have always been good for me - need to pay, but it's worth it, and nothing shady involved. http://www.proxysolutions.net/

Guest GhostHunter
Yep - you set up through Internet connection proxy settings (just an ip address and a port number) When you flip it on, and browse for the first time, you put in a username/pw... BigMDV
I started using proxy solutions.net a couple of weeks ago so I could use the American Netflix, it's fairly easy to use and we'll worth the $7 per month

Gizmo
Couple of cheap (ie free) solutions. 1 - the "hide my ass" proxy add-on for your internet browser which can often be enough on it's own to access US content. 2 - the free encrypted VPN - Spotflux.
