I hate the point that is spewed out the the WM parties in Scotland are depriving the PEOPLE of their right?  So to be clear are voters who vote for Labour, Tory or Lib-Dem parties are not People?  do their votes not count that the don't want it?  he then wants to be inclusive to all, but clearly not to those who vote for other parties.

He did come across as its not you, it's me I just need to find some space, I still love you but I cannot go on like this and we need to see other people now.  Its like a 20yo something dumping an abusive partner

It is very disheartening. He presents a rather pathetic image, trying to come across as the strong man who is in full control and it is business as usual; it is not. I had hoped that he might hold out the olive branch and accept that he will have to work with others, but no. Inclusiveness to those with another political view is simply not on his or the SNP agenda. The vile that is spewed out against the opposite view is a big turn off with no room for debate. It is obvious that he has never had a job in the real world, as any decent business leader understands that the way to peoples minds is discussion, debate, compromise and proof of achievement and not simply blaming somebody else when things go wrong.

He doesn't seem to grasp that he has to get next years budget through parliament and that he will not be able to do so without the help of other parties.  I suspect that he will get what he deserves.

Fair play to him, getting in before he was voted on (and rejected) by the swivel-eyed loons that make up the Green Party membership.

I have never, and will never, vote SNP but I like Kate Forbes and think she would make a good First Minister (if it had to be an SNP FM).

I don't think so, by disolving the BHA that probably wins him back (or stays their hand anyway) of the backbenchers that want him gone. It becomes a Nationalist/Unionist issue if the greens back the Tories, and Alba hold the deciding vote to draw it or not - I believe in the event of a draw the Presiding Officer by convention backs the government ?

Was Sturgeon at FMQs today?

Getting that look from every MSP and Parliament staff member knowing that her pretend husband has allegedly been stealing money from the SNP party and its members.

Wonder what kind of day she had.

I agree with a lot of the greens policies but it has become more and more like the tail wagging the dog in the last few months.

If there is a vote of NC it will be interesting what way the unelected Alba member votes.

Would that be the Conservative and UNIONIST Party?

The SNP would presumably split into something like "The Democratic Socialists" and "Independant Labour".

A rightist party may be formed but there would not be a Tory party.

It's all hypothetical anyway............

I imagine there will still be those who will campaign for a Union with England, for a time anyway

But any political parties operating in an independent Scotland would need to be wholly Scottish in terms of their member base, registration and funding

When asked about what changed in the last 48 hours regarding what changed with the Greens,  Humza gave a list of Conservatives as if it is some kind of shame?????  If Doug Ross had been clever he could have just said Murrell, that would have been the Trump card played and won.

This today stopped an equally awkward encounter explaining his inability to suspend the Murrells now that one has been charged.

Humza will need to learn contrition quickly as he will need labour and the Tories in the coming months to get anything done.

The Greens will spit the dummy, even though they only do breast feeding, Harvey still looks like he breast feeds.

28 days then to replace him. If they can't, election time.

SNP 'sold out' future generations - Greenspublished at 09:37

09:37

Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater has just confirmed the end of the Bute House agreement and accused the SNP of "selling out future generations".

She said: “This is an act of political cowardice by the SNP, who are selling out future generations to appease the most reactionary forces in the country.

"They have broken the bonds of trust with members of both parties who have twice chosen the co-operation agreement and climate action over chaos, culture wars and division. They have betrayed the electorate."

She said that the first minister ended the agreement in "such a weak and thoroughly hopeless way" which "signalled that when it comes to political co-operation, he can no longer be trusted."

We've been let down by SNP time and time again'published at 09:45

09:45
In a lengthy statement marking the end of the power-sharing agreement between the SNP and Scottish Greens, Lorna Slater goes on to say that the Scottish Greens were due to vote on the co-operation agreement in the coming weeks.

However, she says they will no longer have the opportunity because of "the most reactionary and backwards-looking forces within the First Minister’s party" which "forced him to do the opposite of what he himself had said was in Scotland’s best interests".

She adds: "If they can’t stand up to members of their own party, how can anyone expect them to stand up to the UK government at Westminster and defend the interests of Scotland?"

Slater says the Scottish Greens were "let down by the SNP time and time again" on a variety of issues including oil and gas targets and council tax.

She ends the statement by urging SNP members who cared about the climate, trans rights and independence to consider whether they were in the right party.

He did the right thing in ditching the Greens, but just went on a whataboutery attack on everybody else as deflection from the chaotic shitshow that would be a Broadway smash hit.  he even attacked the Lib-dems for their coalition with the Conservatives, The Lib-dems took one for the Country and they took a hit but are back as a Party proper.

If he just said, the coalition was at its natural end, and we wish to go forward on the issues that mater to all, He would have came across as in charge, But now he looks so out of his depth.  Shame mammy has her own issues to seek. there is nobody left to give him a cuddle.

I am split with predicting will this be the beginning of the end for Humza? Even if the Ross motion of a Vote of confidence just ends up as a parting shot, It will trigger a power struggle within.

PH has just said that the Bute House agreement would have ensured he won a VONC.  The Greens are off to discuss how they would vote should a confidence vote goes ahead.  Remember they SNP have 63 seats, everybody else has 66.  The Greens could tip the balance, but who is to say SNP members might trigger a cabalistic power shift to get Kate into power???

Humza said the Bute House agreement lasted 19 Liz Trusses'  at least after 1 Liz Truss we got rid as it was a disaster, 1its taken Humza to be as bad as 18 other Liz Trusses' before we get rid.  He wont be remembered well!
