Farce Why is stating the number of tickets sold a "farce"? Does it matter that much, except to those who have been desperately watching for (and hoping for) signs of fans "voting with their feet" for over two years? If the attendance is to be a measure of commitment then does it have to be adjusted for those who leave early or turn up late? Or who spend a large proportion of the match queuing for food and drink? You've really got a bee in your bonnet about the crowd sizes have you not? Well, when have two seasons of record crowds aided the team on the park? Not once. Levein was playing to 10-12,000 each week and finished third with ease twice. And all this extra income, we sure can see the money being well spent on the team can we not? Suspect Device Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 why are every one getting their thongs in a twist about the crowd ? they'll have counted tickets sold for this game no ? they can't sell more than one ticket per seat, if someone buys a ticket (ST or otherwise) and doesn't turn up, thats up to them, nothing HMFC can do about it but state the number of tickets sold.
