Jamboy81 Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Problem with the fridge freezer I have, It doesn't stay cold. Its a white Samsung frost free a few years old. The fridge and freezer both go cold just perfect but when when the thermostat reaches its limit and it stops, cools down, it wont turn itself back on. Turning the power off/on kicks it back into action and its fine again. I've dicked around with various bits to see if any of the accessories are causing an obstruction etc without success. The coils seem to be clean and free of ice (they are hidden). Compressor seems to make all the normal noises. Really dont want to fork out $1500 for a replacement so any help is appreciated.
