Pretty much my reasoning behind it.

Quite annoyed though, had Rock on Ruby on the Telegraph league, wish I'd went and backed it at the bookies

No doubt Swincombe Flame will win the 4.40 as well seeing my luck so far today.

I changed my Rock on Ruby in telegraph league at last minute to Hurricane Fly dry.gif

After the results of the last 3 races I've backed, it could be just the change I need.

Defo a bookies day today, luckily I had enough of the Sacred Spirit to leave me in profit for the day.

Started reasonably well with two 2nds but had nothing in the next 2 races. All riding on Hunt Ball to get me some sort of money back.

It's a heavy bet on Quevega which would put me level for the day

Bad first day for me today, only 1 winner which was in the last race.

However just found out that Ladbrokes were giving all their existing online customers a free bet of ?5 so I have put that on Hunt Ball in the last race at 7/1. If that comes in then I will be in profit for this festival.

Heres hoping

Got back enough from my Placepot to leave me level for the day, assuming Ackertack loses in the last, which it will.

Right, after a disastrous afternoon in which I've backed nothing but donkeys (apart from Quevega), the horses to avoid in the last are Triolo D'alene and That'll Do

What an amazing performance from Hunt Ball, he's went up 70lbs (five stone!!) in the weights, and he utterly destroyed a classy field, I can't believe how much this horse has improved.

Tip

3.20 Cheltenham 14/3/12 Sizing Europe

This was given to me a girl in the work who also does a lot of riding (not that riding  bloody pervs) and her friends at the stables have mentioned this horse. So I thought I'd pass it on to my fellow Jambos - sorry dont know the price. I have stuck a fivewr on it at the sp.

Currently trading around 10/11, its won twice before at the festival so knows it way around the course and up the hill. Very impressive in December at Sandown, my nap of the day tomorrow to be honest. Big Zeb is a decent horse but I can't see past Sizing Europe for the Champion Chase

so that's two punters in a row selecting Cape Dutch tomorrow. 14/1 eh?

today's ?50 windfall from Cinders and ashes might go on that. then again I might bottle oot. we'll see. definitely a brown-back at least.
