The Rock

Jaap's Sigh

Connery and Cage. Action in Alcatraz. Cool chemicals that burn your face off and a pissed off military specialist with an axe to grind.

BBC1 2150.

Brain out and enjoy folks.

Great movie.

A not so guilty pleasure of mine. Used to watch it regularly as a teen.

Just hope it's shown in it's original state and not cut/dubbed. "forget you!" Just wouldn't sound right in this flick!!

Juan Rom?n Riquelme

Hilariously bad acting from Cage just like in all his films, but that's what makes it brilliant.

Watch it for his terrible acting when an airbag deploys in his face. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Nicolas Cage has versatility in abundance, sometimes I don't even recognise him when he's in character, and his whispering at crucial moments in scenes has him leaps and bounds ahead of his counterparts

Connery says in the film that he is from the Weedge, that put me off. I fast forward that bit.

Shan acting on all sides. A blot on Sir Sean's work

Sir Sean has been in a few shite films though, not just this.

I do love this shite film though.

Amuses me that the felly who plays Dr Cox in Scrubs is in this.

He's also in that war film with Charlie Sheen.

John C McGinley is in loads of films. He was a proper action movie mainstay of the 90s.

Never understood why people have to watch a film more than once.

I don't.

Debbie done something in the likes of Dallas attracted me to more than one viewing, so did Grease :woot: then again I was only 15 at the time :)

I only found out today that Nicolas Cage is Francis Ford Copolla's nephew.

I appreciate this fact might be well known, or of no interest at all to a lot of people.

The man who directed the godfather loves nepotism. His whole family is in the film industry.
