Locky
Don't necessarily need to be good or play for a team you like but just your favourite players. 1. John Robertson - Am too young to have seen him play but I've seen enough videos to make my mind up. Plus being one of the best players ever to play for my favourite club is another factor. 2. Thierry Henry - Never really liked Arsenal or any of the teams he's played for as a matter of a fact, but as an attacking player myself it's impossible not to see him as an inspiration. 3. Zinedine Zidane - In my eyes he is the best player of my generation. Unstoppable in midfield. 4. Peter Schmeichel - Although generally a striker myself I come from a goalkeeping family and enjoy being in the sticks on occasion and being a keen admirer of the Man Utd Champions League winning squad in 1999 he was the heart of the team. 5. Ronaldo - In his prime there is no denying he was the best player in the world. Makes you wonder what he might have achieved had he played at that level throughout his career. 6. Rudi Skacel - Easily one of the best players I've actually watched play for Hearts on a regular basis. Needs no explanation. 7. Craig Gordon - All time favourite Hearts keeper. Just wish I had got to see him a bit more. 8. Luis Figo - Not far off Zidane in terms of best player of my generation. 9. Iker Casillas - Best keeper in the world at the moment and I'd say he has been for the last 10 years. 10. Ruud van Nistelrooy - An absolute goal machine for Manchester United. Great player to watch. Probably missed a few out or would change the order on another day but have been thinking about this all day and this is my selection. Take it away Kickback. Alan_R
For some weird reason I love Kenwyne Jones too. I think he is immense for what he brings to a game. He is not an out and out goalscorer but the way he brings other players into the game is superb. At a club like say Tottenham or Liverpool with better players around him I reckon he could be a real hit.

jambofaefife
JC for Bruno in a 442 and he had it. Much that I would like JC in the team there would be an inbalance in midfield with three attack minding midfielders, thats why I had Bruno in to do the dirty work and hand out the off kicking. Pete Seeger
In no particular order; - Rudi Skacel - Love everything about him. Great celo's, personality and a great bond with the fans. Legend. - Takis Fyssas - One of the best players to have worn our colours and an all round likeable guy. - Paul Dickov - He brought City back to the Premier league. - Kinkladze - Bright spark in an otherwise bleak period for City. - Zidane - The best footballer in my lifetime. - Gabriel Batistuta - Idolised him as a child watching channel fours Serie A coverage. - Bastian Schweinsteiger - The best midfielder on the planet. - Miko - Will always admire him for not letting the racist media get to him. - Alex Bone - Up until the age of 10-11 I watched Stirling Albion home and away and he was by far and away the top man at the club. Also a nephew of a Hearts Great. - Colin Cameron - Had a great engine and scored one of our most important goals of all time.
