Fermit the Krog

Been speaking to someone at the club and he reckons that in 6 weeks we'll be playing on a park akin to Fir Park circa 2009.

Some disease on the grass apparently.

I thought it was noticeable today how much it had deteriorated since last week.

Certainly not our biggest problem however, just passing the info on.

It won't make any difference to our displays because we are shicht on a decent park, then again it might be a leveler,so we might pick up points more regular.

Was on in the Gogie club last Saturday and all the other lounges.

Re Grounsman we apparently have a guy, Walter Smith has described as the best groundsman in Scotland.

Sorry to burst the bubble on 2 doom & gloom stories.

I dunno if it's been restricted to the lounges CK but it was definately cut from under the stands two weeks ago.

As for the pitch, not doubting his abilities as a groundsman, but this apparently would cost money that we don't have to sort.

Not doom and gloom, just passing on what i've been told.

I've heard the same... Some sort of disease but we're not prepared to pay up to sort it. It is looking noticeably worse in a very short space of time...

Problem Officer?

Do the groundsmen actually do much anyway?

Before the game and at half time, all you see is a couple of guys with garden forks digging at the odd bit of soil, as if thinking it will actually do anything :cornette:

If I was the groundsman I'd be digging up holes and roughing up the turf infront of the other teams goal, and then correcting it at half time. :jjyay:

Can confirm it was sports masters up unitil this season. I do not know the reason for their departure but i do know that he, (Gavin), had been struggling to get paid, (sounds all to familiar), and that they had parted company before start of season.
