fraserok Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 It wasnt until reading this phrase in another post that it dawned on me that we are not getting out of this situation any time soon. I'm sorry but I'm offski until we have a transparent set up which the fans can trust in. I don't see that happening any time soon. My five year old son was asked what team he supported at his birthday party and he said Hearts. I so so proud and yet embarrassed at the same time. Now I know how my Dad felt - I was the same age in the mid 70s, and the parallels with back then are ominous. I just wish there was something worth supporting. I hope we get out of it soon. But I'm sorry, it hurts too much to see the state we are in and the only thing that digs me out of my depression is my anger at the puppeteers we have in charge just now. Like you I was a kid in the 70's and remember how Hearts were. People should wake up to the fact that we could end up like that again because the parallels are more and more apparent.
