My old Printer is dying and I've seen a load of Combined Printer/Copier/Scanners available at reasonable prices. Most of them are available with Wireless which would be usefull.

Do any Kickbackers own one that they think is worth recommending? OR maybe yours is dreadfull and you'd warn people off

I'm looking at spending ?40-?100

You tend to find the cheap printers have ink that costs about as much as the printer to replace.

Have a look for the more "efficient" examples, they will probably say in the spec or reviews if they are good on ink and/or the ink isn't expensive to replace. Some Kodak ones are good so I've heard.

Aye, I've got one and I like it.

I couldn't compare it against any others though, so I can't recommend it, but it's an HP3050 J610 series, and was purchased for about ?40 at the time.

I got a Kodak wireless from PC world last month. Apparently the replacement cartridges are the cheapest on the market. Seems okay to me.

The sprog has one of these Canon MX340s for printing off homework and stuff, seems to print well and the wifi has come in handy as my epson printer has just expired. Ink's expensive as compatibiles don't seem to be available, only dodgy refilled carts.

My epson was cheap to run as I had a CISS system which saved me a fortune.

Have this. It's absolutely fine and you can pick up cheaper ink online that works just as well.

We used it to do wedding invites on quite thick card and it handled it no bother.

I got one of these from Tesco and up until last night I couldn't fault it, however went to print today and a pen had fallen into the paper tray and it's now about as much use as John Mitchell is at virtual golf. sad.gif

ps. Not the printer's fault obviously so would still recommend it. thumbsup.gif

I've got a HP J6480. I'm happy with the print and scan quality, but the wireless function is hopeless - it cuts out halfway through printing more often than it manages to print a page. No problems at all if it's connected by USB cable though.
