To be honest I dont think Zal deserves to be dropped because of one mistake midweek. I am by no means the lads biggest fan but we have no one else to take his place with Mr Glass deciding when he will and wont play and I would take Zali over Barr every single day of the week. Other than that I cant see anything wrong with that team other than it wont be a 4-3-3.
HillmanHearts
So you would be in favour of dropping Zal for his slip on the wet surface at Ayr but not MacDonald for his slip on the wet surface at Inverness. No agenda there then !

SRC HMFC
Don't understand the slating Zal is recieving on here, yes it was a horrible mistake but as per everyone loves to jump on the anti Zaliukas bandwagon. What about Jamie McDonald's howler, far worse and nobody seemed to keen to have a major go at him even though he is horrendous.

That's because Jamie MacDonald's replacement is Balogh, who wasn't exactly Lev Yashin on Wednesday night.

Balogh is a much better keeper than McDonald and it still doesn't answer why Zaliukas is taking so much more stick than McDonald.

Italian Lambretta
One of the biggest problems we have is too many possible options. One things for sure we need another left back because Grainger is the only option at the moment and he knows it.

What about Jamie McDonald's howler, far worse and nobody seemed to keen to have a major go at him even though he is horrendous. it was exactly the same. One of the biggest problems we have is too many possible options. One things for sure we need another left back because Grainger is the only option at the moment and he knows it. I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. Are you suggesting Grainger isn't pulling his weight because he knows he won't be dropped?
Don Juan
My reasoning for leaving Zal out is not to do with Wed night's slip, more the fact that I don't rate him and I would prefer to see someone else given the chance. I am not a fan of Balogh and think MacDonald is slightly better (which is not saying much). If Kello was fit he would obviously be in the team. foghorn5
As an away game were we would more likely be against an attack minded team I think we will have a team out not to lose therefore Macdonald Hamill Zaliukas Mrowiec Grainger Taouil Jonsson Black Obua Stevenson Elliott Bench: Balogh Smith Sutton McGowan Robinson Templeton Skacel would like to see Smith have a start, even for 30 mins knowing you could bring on Elliott or Sutton. Think we will only list 2 wingers not 3 for squad. Course this all goes skywards if Webster is fit then Jonsson drops and so does McGowan Driver and Novikovas not in squad but would shoe in for Sutton or Templeton

Italian Lambretta
Lets just say he's getting a little bit comfy in this position and the last 2 games we have seen a considerable drop in standards.
