Thankfully the “ex-player” tag was used here or I’d have been struggling to figure out which Jamie Walker was the subject of this thread.

Knee injuries are just a crippler and unfortunately will hold him back the rest of his career

If he doesn't make it at Swansea I'd love us to be in for him. Would be exactly the sort of player we could use in midfield.

The snake goes to Wigan and Wigan all of a sudden start playing shite.

He doesnt even need to play for them. The poison is strong with that one.

We are a much better side without him. I got so frustrated with him in the end; stark contrast to most of his Hearts career.

Wish him all the best.

Are we really better without him though?

That was a side with virtually no creativity on Saturday

Hugely talented player who for one reason or another won't make it.. Be it injury, attitude or general inconsistency.. Hopefully I'm wrong

Indy is to Jamie what Mars was to Robbie.

I’m sure it’s all tongue in cheek and with no malice aforethought.

He was amazing for us all season, creating things in each game. Oh wait, no he wasn't.

I'm not a fan either. Not sure anyone has created that much before or since though

I know relentlessly slagging our own players and managers - current and ex - is what all the cool kids do these days but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say for all how disappointing a second half of last season and first half of this season he had, we won't find another 7-10+ goal a season midfielder for a very long time. Good player for us. Hope he does well.

On his day an excellent player for us. Said days were sadly few and far between.

Maybe you're not one of the cool kids? But anyhow, we need to replace his goals from midfield somehow.

There are a lot of Premier League players who flash and end up disappearing in that division, e.g. Pawlett, Muirhead etc. Walker will be on the same level as those players, getting some money and disappearing out of mind.

As usual?  Oh ma sides

You must have failed to see the troll emoji at the bottom of my post

P.s As you’re being serious and “as usual” you jump to Walker’s defence at every opportunity, wonder what “mince” you’ll come out with when he finds himself back up the road in no time ?

Wish the guy well and hope he makes a good account of himself at Wigan. I was pleased to see him back and celebrating in the stands at the Hibs game.
