I've been lucky enough to have seen Rousset, niemi and Gordon.

I was just a bit to young to fully appreciate Rousset.

It's close between Gordon and Niemi but for me its Niemi

Niemi was outstanding, some of the saves he would make were just superb. Gordon pulled off a wonder save against us from Rob Jones, It was in all day long and i've no idea how he got his hand to it. i just stood stunned.

Stupid Sexy Flanders

The best Hearts Keeper played for us... Zibby. :D

That day he gave us a wave... I'll never forget it!

(I'd have been raging if I was a Hibby though!)

haha, Did he actually wave to yous? I'd heard people say that but thought it was a wind up? That sums that boy up, imagine waving to the fans of you're rivals! Throwing in goals was bad enough.

Jim Cruikshank was in my opinion the best Hearts keeper I have seen, yes Gordon, Niema, Rousset and Henry Smith all had their moments but Cruikie played in one of the worst Hearts teams and saved us on many more occasions from heavy defeats than any other keeper.

Too young to see Cruickshank play. Niemi and Gordon were class, and Rousset was also a great goalie ('that' moment aside).

My sentimental favourite, though, is still Henry Smith, probably coz he was first-choice when I started watching Hearts. Some of his performances (good and bad, admittedly) will live with me forever. That save he made from Coyne in '91 remains one of the best I've ever seen.
