I have done some searching and there are plenty of places willing to take your cash. Anyone used any? The posting it to yourself does not seem to good as one post i read said you could post an unsealed registered letter to yourself and put anything in it anytime and say you wrote it,so won't stand up in court. Also what is the best way to let people see them? I know millions of people write songs but she would like to do something with them. She wants the rock star life As soon as she's written it it's copyrighted. There's no legal documentation required. Just do normal things like post it to yourself (i know what you said but it's better than nothing) save it on a date and time stamped computer file. I think you can pay to get something done but it's not really worth it. If everything's dated then I'm sure the onus would be on the person trying to steal it to prove they wrote it first.
