Silvery_Moon
Neil McCann's strike in the 1-0 win at Easter Road in August 1997 is undoubtedly more famous but it should not be forgotten that he also scored the winner in the previous derby at Tynecastle, with Hearts winning by the same 1-0 scoreline. This made it 10 points out of 12 in derbies that season - a feat we would not repeat for another 10 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZajMfnagc4
Eldar Hadzimehmedovic
Loved that game. The 'Hibs are going down' chant after McCann scored was deafening. Braw.
Say What Again
How afwul was/is Jim White? 'and another Edinburgh Derby win for Hearts' was a good shout though.
Geoff Kilpatrick
Got absolutely soaked in Row 2 of the Wheatfield that day. Funnily enough, scoring made you forget the rain!!
jambojase
I'm sure we were heavy favourites that day but had to be very patient for the win. Bit like the last derby at Tynecastle too. Could well be the same today but if we can win 1-0 again I'll be happy.
