Last Scottish Team In Europe

Thanks to the later KO last night, we can claim to be the last Scottish team in Europe this season.

I guess you could also argue that our performance was the BEST Scottish performance, what with us being UNSEEDED and up against a team of Spurs calibre, and with the weegies both being SEEDED and falling to relative nobodies in the footballing world.

Perhaps not something to be celebrating given how bad a campaign its been, but still.....

If we were hobos we would be adding last night to our list of mythical European pedigree results.

I think we would definitely have beaten Maribor, especially with the first leg away and ran Sion very close - toss of a coin.

We were embarrassing in the first leg. Let's not bring too much attention on ourselves.

Tie was won in the first 30 minutes. But you could argue that we played the hardest team in draw. Anyone agree?

I'm pretty sure Spurs are the bookies favourites for the Europa League.

Disagree. We were all, rightly, very critical of the performance last week.

But after last night, let's draw as much attention to ourselves as we can. We, rightly, deserve it.

A 2 legged tie that was over in the first 15 minutes of the 1st leg. If that's where you set the bar then carry on son.

Not even subtle.

We also comfortably won a two legged tie against the sort of opposition that regularly dumps Hibs out of European competition at the first time of asking. (Well regularly in the sense of always, on the rare occasions they are involved).
