Just before Saturdays match, The Swiss FA told Sion they couldn't field any of their 6 summer signings. The row erupted afterwards, with Sions president taking it to court for compensation. Their were also death threats sent to the Swiss League president. The association are extremely pissed off with the Compo case and the death threats have pushed it to another level. They could now be thrown out within a month.

They've directly ignored a punishment and are now bringing the Swiss game into disrepute.

The civil court granted the request of the players of FC Sion Following the rejection of their qualifications and their use by the Swiss Football League because of the injunctions of the FIFA players Stefan Glarner, Billy Ketkeophomphone, Mario Mutsch, Pascal Feindouno, Jos? Gon?alves and Gabri seized the civil court of the district of Martigny. The six players argue the violation of their rights of personality, involving the behavior of the FIFA and the SFL. As part of this procedure, the civil court today ordered the qualification of six players with immediate effect. He also order respondent to the SFL and FIFA to inform the club that he can legitimately play his new recruits.

so a swiss court has said that they can play their new players. but with the death threats and disregard for the rules this might run for a little while
