Say What Again
Diamond Dan? I much preferred Normthebarman's 'Sash Gordon' from the competition to name him on the old JKB.
monkfish1979
How very sad. They feel they have to create a "character" to popularise their dwindling organisation. Spiritual decline is one of my favourite things. More of an excuse for random acts of violence these days than what their little club was originally intended for (IMO). Also, Jack of Hearts is correct. "Sash Gordon" is better, and more amusing....

Norm
Diamond Dan? Pah!! My suggestion of "Sash Gordon" was much better. Bloody "Diamond Dan". To quote a rather fine line from "True Romance", "I've got more taste in my p*nis."
the voice from above
"And of course, apart from the historical aspect of the name, it has a good ring to it." what's historic about Diamond Dan? Danny Bhoy? The great belfast diamond rush of 1888? more importantly, what is the point of the orange order in modern society?
