Apparently Paulo is targetting Pereirinha as his first signing from old club Sporting CP.

Snake Plissken

23 years old, midfielder who doesn't seem to have a future at Sporting.

Another Bruno Aguiar perhaps?

Would fit the bill quite nicely if so.

Tommy Wiseau

A regular feature in the Sporting side, scored the goal that knocked Bolton out the UEFA Cup, 19 caps for Portugal at under-21 level?

Eh, where have you heard this one?

Not skillful or agressive?????

Not overly. By Portugal's standards, that likely makes him a Laudrup in our league.

Remember they said Bruno Aguiar was just a clogger for Benfica.

Really need to get 3 or 4 more players in what with injuries and this game with Spurs. Monday is the signing deadline for the next round in Europe, goin to have to go a bit if we want one or two initially for this game then see where we go from there to the end of the transfer deadline in August.

Same as the reply below, can't say that I am surprised if he is targetting a new rightback. Mcgowan is ok but he isn't a rightback IMO and Jamie Hamill is better in midfield.

Not really Francis, he's been out on loan twice in the last year.

Probably just a case of someone putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 but perhaps a loan with option to buy deal would be viable?

It looks as though PS has taken him on loan before.

Yes, what you are saying is true, but aren't you allowed to sign one player the day before the first leg to make them eligable? Rangers did it with Goian, but then he pulled his hammy so never played.

Patrick Bateman

But how will he fit into our midfield with Maniche on patrol? :verysmug:

Just looked at his appearances for the club, tbh - approaching 100 by 23 isn't bad at all, and I remembered him scoring against Bolton. That was the game Bolton played the reserves and deliberately chucked it IIRC. Travelling support must have been seething.

Johanes de Silentio

A midfielder and striker before Monday imo.

And a centre back.

The skewer in the shish-kebab.

Maybe not before Monday, mind - but before the transfer window shuts.
