kingantti1874 Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 I am not ITK in any way but I heard this was a possibility - hearts have given him improved terms but only for 6 months to see if performances / injuries hold up at which point it can be extended again or cut if not working... heartsfc_fan Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 Hearts are maybe weary that with Rudi not getting any younger and recovering from an injury, they don't want to offer their highest paid (probably) player a longer term deal. I would imagine there will be a clause in there somewhere that if he performs well then he will get an extension.
