Cracked Hearts crest in the Daily Record

What gives the Daily Record the right to do this to the Heart of Midlothian? They would never dream of doing it to the Celtic crest in particular and Jim Traynor himself has admitted that this was a 'mistake' on his Radio Phone in show.

And the Daily Record failed to see why their short lived Edinburgh free Evening edition flopped. Even when it was free no-one wanted it.

Red tops will sensationalise anything to sell papers.

Seen it many times with Celtic back in the early 90's, obviously not old enough to remember when they were in dire straights and the banks were gonna close them.

I picked up the sun yesterday and they had several broken Hearts badges in the back pages.

...and the Celtic fans complained to the extent that The Record wouldn't dare doing so again, no matter what the story.

Even with HMRC threatening to take Rangers to the cleaners financially and Delboy Whyte buying the club for quid you will NEVER see a cracked Rangers crest from that rag.

Its a paper for people from Glasgow who don't want to work and

expect the people of Edinburgh to pay for every thing for them.

Don't buy it.

Glasgow rag just like the scummy Sun newspaper.

They don't respect the truth.

They only want to please sectarian scummy vile sponging vermin low life

from the west of Scotland.

Printing a cracked Hearts crest is one of the Record's favourite techniques, along with giving all Rangers players/staff a 'y' at the end of their name to make them sound all friendly... coisty, greegsy, naisy. Really clever.

It's just the visual version of the pun "broken Heart" isn't it? Trotted out every time the comic does a story about us changing managers.
