Anybody out there own a Vespa? Thinking about getting one to nip to and from work. Just Looking for a wee bit feedback on them if you have one!

The Beast Of The East

a traditional manual gear shift or modern automatic?

if manual, be prepared to get your hands dirty!! though they are relatively simple to work on.

and you get to look cool as ****.

join a club, there are loads locally. plenty of willing hands to help out.

And if it's the older vespa your going for your cutch cable is something that can go at any time.

I used to have a (manual) Vespa PX125 back in the day. Great fun to run about the toon in.

Thinking about getting one again. Now the choice is (manual) Vespa PX125 or (automatic) Vespa LX or GTS 125.

You could consider an LML 125. It's identical to a Vespa PX125 and just over half the price at ?1,800. A new Vespa will cost you at least ?2,900.

Check Vivo Scooters (Granton Square) for the LML's & reconditioned Vespas or Eclipse Scooters (Tranent) for the new Vespas.

Happy Scootering.
