third lanark Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Hi Hearts supporters, As your team is not playing on saturday 30th July you will be more than welcome to come along and watch St Bernards v Third Lanark on this date for the inaugral Volanteers Cup which is hoped to be an annual fixture between St Bernards and Third Lanark, both these clubs having similar links being founded by army volanteers and both being lost to the senior game under similar circumstances. Both were also Scottish Cup Winners. This year the home team is St Bernards so the venue is Lethem Park, Pollock Pavillion, 227 Ferry Road, Edinburgh EH6 4SP. This is not to far away from where St Bernards used to play at Logie Green. Kick off is at 3.30pm Entry is of course free. In 2012 the venue will be Third Lanarks famous Cathkin Park in Glasgow.
