Swanny17
Folks, I want to change all my bathroom taps and the one in the kitchen sink. Is this straight forward enough to do, or will I require a plumber? If I require a plumber, does anyone know what the cost will be approx.? Thanks Swanny

Thanks Swanny You need to be competent enough to turn the water off, use a spanner, use some PTFE tape for good measure and replace seals. It's actually quite tricky changing a tap on a basin because of the restricted access to them underneath. It can be fiddly loosening the nuts on the tap fixings. Pete Seeger
Depends how long the existing ones have been in. You will struggle to get bath taps off that have been in for years an years. An for the basin you'll need a crows foot key. You could be there a full day or there an hour. Just depends how easy the access is and how easy the existing taps come off. Good luck! Any problems pm me
