Dr. Bapswent
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13962870.stm That'll be the pressure off then. The rest of the SPL are quaking in their boots.

heartsfc_fan
They've probably offered him a deal to show "they have signed a player this summer" Everyone else has rejected them
The People's Chimp
He's also a "fans favourite" for non footballing reasons. Good PR for them amongst the unwashed hordes.
Vlad-Stupid
Fatboy only signed as they didn't want to waste the xxl kits they bought him. What a shite signing -

armstrong
He was gash last year, and I'm pretty confident he'll be gash again this year...if he makes it off the bench! No worries

Marvin
To think if the offer was rejected then Rankers will have a worse transfer record than H*bs. In fact as I cant be bothered checking, have they?
TheBigO
Funny player Healey ain't he? Always done well for NI, but on the whole, been a squad player at every club he's been at. Never seems to be a first choice no matter where he goes. Got to tell you something that. Now in his 30s - was surprised to see that right enough, still seems to get talked about like he's just hit the scene. Anyway. David Healey or Stephen Elliott? Don't rate either of them that highly tbh - Healy's got better goalscoring stats but is older - Elliot's probably a lot fitter & works harder. Gareth_Hearts
It's a smart signing, many northern irish people love david healy (including myself) for what he's done for the national team. Unfortunely many northern irish people also claim to support rangers just because they are protestant, the shirt sales from this are going to be massive. WavyGravy
Great piece of business by Whyte. He's really flexing his financial muscle now. Lets not forget the lad Kerkar (1 sub appearance last season) has also been given a new deal. Signings that will rock Scottish football to the core. Add James Beattie into the equation and you have a tantalising mix. UTTER PISH.

Riddley Walker
How the **** can you not rate Elliot? Thats utter pish pal. He works really hard and his link up play is pretty good. His shooting is pretty poor though. Can be effective when played alongside suitable players, just wish he was more clinical in front of goal. vintage1874
Oh he does rate him, just utter pish, its still a rating. I would have to agree. A bit harsh stephen elliott is a hard worker and was played out of position a lot last season, kyles injury probably did n't help him either. If hearts played with 2 up front elliott with kyle or sutton we'd see a lot more goals from him.
