Captain Sausage
Been meaning to do it for a while so sat down tonight and just read all about it. What I got from it was a sense of despair. What are humans capable of doing to each other. I can't ever say what I would do if I saw my mother or girlfriend being raped by a group of degenerates while I am forced to watch on. Some people fought back, and died down. Some people killed themselves in fear or defeat. Some people were just killed. Sickening, sickening read which makes me think about the world in a very depressing way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srebrenica_massacre

It's a brilliant overview of the entire war and a balanced expose of how many people were to blame for so much suffering (not just the Serbs, it has to be said). The Balkans War was probably the first conflict I had the attention span to follow as a lad and it's always interested me greatly. The worst part about it in my eyes was the pathetic role of the UN. Inept, spineless, intransigent - pick your adjective.
