Sooperstar
Ok, just opened up some Halls Chicken Balmoral to shove in the oven for the tea and was hit by an eggy smell. The smell has now gone and the chicken doesn't have any odour. So, will I die if I eat the chicken, or will I be fine?
Mr Brightside
What colour is the chicken? If it is pink or the juice is pink don't eat it. I always find pre-packed chicken dishes, smell a bit funny.

Sooperstar
I've decided that I'm not going to die. Seems it may be to do with some gas compound put into the airtight package to prevent bacteria growth.

Chicken shouldn't smell like egg. Toss it and phone a takeaway.

Try with a side order of German bean sprouts and even some Spanish cucumber for good measure.
Mr Brightside
Not sure what your getting at, but if you want to eat chicken with pink juice bash on. A quick google search will back this up. Pink meat can be a bit more debateable by I tend to err on the side if caution.
