loganjambo Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 Visited Sorn parish church in ayrshire yesterday in the cumnock doon valley,on the wall of the church i found a plaque too the memory of a 16 year old laddie GEORGE WOOD who was shot in 1688, by some body called bloody john reid, his crime he was a COVENANTER holding a BIBLE, found this very moving and thought i would just would pass it on, you can see the photo of the plaque on the scottish war graves site, sorn church 6th photo down.
