Bigot or not?

With all thats gone on recently, I got to thinking why there is so much nastiness around football.

I genuinely dont beleive that there are too many bigots at Tynecastle. I have a firm belief that when two sets of fans get together, it becomes natural to antagonise them as much as possible.

 

With Celtic, and their songs and stands against Poppy day etc, its the easiest thing in the world to annoy them by singing anti irish songs etc.

Yet, when we play Hibs, we taunt them about their lack of a Scottish Cup win.

 

With many other teams, we have no real gripe with them, and all that results in, is a pretty flat atmosphere.

 

Flag bearers at Tynecastle dont take their flags anywhere else. They simply take them to matches to rile the away fans.

 

So, I am still a happy jambo. We are no different to any other fans, its just that the old firm bring out the worst in everyone.
