HMFC4ME
I would love to follow Hearts to Europe, but have never done so before. what's the process for getting tickets? are there any pre-requisites to buying them such as requiring a season ticket? or having X many purchases? When do they become available? What is the average price of a ticket?

Sometime close to the game. Depends what country the game is in really.

Do The Dance
You'd get a ticket no bother. No matter who we play.
kingdannyb
What about if you live abroad ? Ideally I want us to get either of the Vienna teams and be able to print off my ticket for our end at home. Has this been done before ?

Has this been done before ? When we played Feyenoord, I was getting tickets for me and the Wee Fella for the Schalke game and got a phone call from my Sister in law in Holland to get 3 tickets. I had to fill in the forms at Tynie with their details then post them over to them. They got them the morning of the match. So if your plan doesn't work, that's another way of doing it. CostaJambo
Just as long as I'm not forced to turn up in person with my passport or anything. I got tickets for the away leg against AEK Athens despite living abroad and paid by credit card, it wasn't complicated at all. Ended up we couldn't get a babysitter (quite difficult for a 2 or 3 day 'sit' when you have no family nearby!) so we never went. I gave them to somebody on here (forget who) and just sent him an email saying he had my permission to pick them up from the ticket office for me, that was it. This year is the wife's 40th so the chances of me getting another try are minimal. Been to one league game and one friendly in about the last 5 years, talk about a part-time supporter. Will be getting up at 3.30 a.m. to watch tonight on HW tho'.
PsychocAndy
Just as long as I'm not forced to turn up in person with my passport or anything. They didn't, cost me a fortune on my mobile to get all their details for the forms though. It was a last minute thing for them, they stay about 3 hours away from Rotterdam and the game was on their daughters birthday, who got punted to Granny's. So if someone can get to Tynie with your details with them, it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, one of the only sensible responses. so when they go for sale anyone can buy them? is there no tier system for priority sales? Can I assume that loyalty points on the e-ticketing system thing are not counted? Calm down calm down How can I be calm!? European football, yes please! Who are we playing? Don't care who we're playing(so long as its not a UK team lol) Sorry, Uber fans only. No glory hunters allowed No season ticket as I live in London. One requirement... You have to post on here while Hearts are playing yeah I'll be like the rest and spend more time writing about the football than actually watching it haha. Eckauskas
Our mate just went down to the ticket office and got our tickets for Zagreb away. I think for European games, UEFA require your passport details.

McJambo
The only game we had a problem getting tickets for was Basle away, manged to get them in the end but think there was a few Hearts fans who missed out. That was a game in the groups when it was pretty tight so the home end was almost full. Shouldn't be any problems for the qualifying rounds though.
