Stinking tackle on Jonsson

Not often you see those sorts of tackles these days. Over the ball. A real stinker.

Jonsson was lucky that he could walk away from it. Definite red card deserved.

The ref was pretty inconsistent today, but deserves credit for giving the straight red. The boy was going off even if he just booked him but the tackle definately deserved a straight red from where i was.

It was one of those tackles that you're relieved to see your player get up from.

Danny Swanson is a massive Hibee. You could see he was from the off, he was too fired up.

Having just watched the tackle on TV I think my initial view was right.

Eggert was very lucky that the guy didn't fully catch him.

As I say, Hibee. Would you expect anything less?

In his after match interview Levein said it was similar to one of the challenges a Hearts player put in earlier.

Can anyone remember the challenge he is talking about?

I am in Section N lower and the tackle was right infront of us i went absolute mental and was in the front row giving him it big style, As another Poster says Eggert was lucky to walk away.

In the Scotland on Sunday he talks about "the tackle Nade was booked for..." I cant remeber it being anything like as bad though.

Spoke to a mate of mine who knows and played with Danny for years. He says it was a typical Danny Swanson tackle, that there was no malice in it but that he's a very bad (and scared) tackler and will often turn away and just stick his leg out.

He's a hibby though.
