Of the rest Goodwillie, Macguire, Stokes, Hooper, Weiss and Eremnko are the biggies. What is the definition of "assist" (a concept that seems only to have crept into football fairly recently)? Is it just who touches the ball last before the scorer. We have scored 52 goals in the league, so it seems odd that no player other than Kyle has amassed more than 3 "assists" (especially given Kyle's long absence from the team). There seemed to be a few interpretations and the term seems to have been borrowed from Basketball.
