As it says

Whats the score with Wallace, Kyle, Black , Suso etc etc

Believe Wallace and Suso failed fitness tests so hope thats a sign they were not too far away. Black ? was it one game? I know Pala is three. Webster anyone, was it a groin strain?

Hope Wallace and Black are back cos that changes our options greatly and centre mid struggled yesterday.

Kyle? seems we aint getting too much info or have I missed something. I was on holiday and mate txt to say he didnt need surgery but would be out 2-3 weeks and would get injections. That time scale is up and nothing more seems to have been said.

I just hope that we go softly, softly with Wallace. He was out for a long time and I'd rather he was eased back and was ready for a full pre-season.

Kyle needs an op but refuses to have it done. If he had had it done at the time of the last flare up he would have been about ready for a return by now.

Yep.

Europe is all but secure so we could survive without imo.

Plus....

If he doesn't play too many more matches this season I think we'll have a better chance of holding on to him for next season.

I think Kyle had course of injections one per week over three weeks. I'm sure that was the the hearts site a couple of weeks ago. Even if that all works will take time to get him match fit which a shame because we've missed the big man.

Yes he had according to the Club been seen by a Specialist who said that he did not need an operation and that three or four injections should do the trick.

I am pretty sure that the Hearts Physio thinks that an op is the only cure but time will tell who is right.

I hope it all works because thats around 9 or 10 games he's missed already. I think suso had a similar op earlier in the season and must've been out for the same amount of time KK has been out for so far, but i suppose the specialist knows best.

KK reckons the problem might be in his hip and not his groin and is worried that would mean rest of season out. That said, he was furious not to be selected for the DUtd game! Even though he's injured, he reckons he can play through it but the club - rightly imo - want him treatd properly.

Paraphrased from the man himself.

Was KK furious at not being selected for the Aberdeen game? What are his chances of being available for the Killie game? I note that there is no mention of him anywhere on the Hearts Official Website as to how he is progressing or not, seems strangely quite, unless I am missing something.

Duno Wavy. Spoke to him on the day of the Utd game but know him (he'll speak to anybody big KK!). Furious was maybe strong, but definitely miffed. Good sign I suppose. Was enjoying his football before this injury and I think he thinks he's indestructable!

Robbo-Jambo

According to the official site Wallace and Suso hopeful of being ok for the Killie game. Webster 50/50 and Black one more game on suspension and Ruben two.

KK as someone mentioned was meant to see a specialist on Wedensday where the picture would be clearer on his injury but all quiet so far on that front. <_<

It's five full days since last Wednesday so any news on KK??

I think there is something strange going on with him and this "injury".

There are hardly any updates on the Official Club Website about this and he is one of our most important players.

Aye its a strange one right enough. JJ was quoted in the paper that Kyle was seeing a specialist last Wed. but since then the silence has been deafening. <_<

The thing that annoys me about this is that he played his last game for us against St Johnstone on 11 January which is 8 weeks ago.

If he had taken the operation he would have been about ready to play again now.

As it is nobody seems to know when he is likely to play again or if they do they are not saying!!

We could really do with him back playing asap.

Fat Striker

In the pre match conference before the Killie game JJ mentioned that there had been a slight improvement with Kyle since the last injection.

I think the plan was to let him train today and tomorrow and check for any reaction. Apparently if no problems they will be more confident that they have pinpointed the area that's causing concern and that's where they will focus on.

Also mentioned the specialist he is seeing is based in Coventry.

Damn right we do mate, we're absolutely clueless up front without Kyle playing as the team have only one style of play and don't seem to know how to adapt, we either need to get the big man back asap, or get someone signed who plays a similar role.

Only a Game

I know this is an old post but its a bit confusing. In an earlier post you said that Kyle was refusing to have the operation. Then you said on the same day (above) that the specialist said he didnt need an operation, but the physio still thinks he does. I dont understand how Kyle could have refused an operation he doesnt need anyway ?

Somebody, somewhere has really fecked this up and got either or the diagnosis or the treatment wrong. I dont believe for a minute that Kyle refused an operation if any medical person ever said he needed one. I know for a fact that he WAS told he needed one when he first got the injury at new year time and was expecting to be out for 6 weeks. By the time he gets back anywhere near fit, it'll be way more than double that and I'd actually be surprised to see him before the end of the season. What a monumental feck up !!!
