'The 30-year-old darted around with menace and eye-catching style and even though Hearts went out of their way to rile him up, he remained perfectly placid in the face of some provocative treatment, including another horror tackle from Tynecastle's own Mr Nasty, Ian Black.'

'But the worst foul of the lot was a fairly brutal looking lunge from, of all people, Black on, of all people, Diouf.'

'Black stayed inside, his place taken by Ryan Stevenson but his reputation as a nasty bit of work further enhanced.'

Keith Jackson GTF!! :seething:

Snake Plissken

'Daily Record'

That's all the needs to be said in relation to how credible this particular piece is.

'Perfectly placid'? I must have imagined his lunge at Zal moments after his dive.

Jackson is a Green Bigot looking to find favour with the Blue Bigots with some of his comments.... it's in his interests to keep them on side and buying papers.

Jackson's comments are way over the top.

El Hadji Diouf and Perfectly Placid in the same sentence is all you need to read to be able to tell the credibility of this article/journalist (alleged).

Walter Bishop

What about Dioufs retaliation when he wasnt awarded a foul 5 minutes ofter he came on???

In true Richard Keys style, if you went round to Sir David Murrays house any night of the week, you`d find Jackson hanging out the back of him!!!!

You would think jackson :woot: and the rest of the lackeys :woot: would have a bit more pride in themselves. They're sh*t scared of walter and want to please the imbeciles that read their rags so this is the sort of stuff they regularly churn out. It should earn him a pat on the head from walter so he'll be happy.

I like how there's no mention of Papac's blatant block after C.T done him with the nutmeg either.....

Rangers.tv commentator seemed to think papac just failed to get out the way. Pffft.

Does Jackson have an email address we can complain to?

He probably gets off on any response to his pitiful wibblings - don't give him any.

Remnants of Standards

What a one-eyed piece of nonsense, but jackson is just typical of the dearth of talent within scotland's tabloid media. Just like the spineless incompetents residing within the myriad of sfa, spl, and sfl committes, so we have laptop loyal monkeys like jackson.

Do we get what we deserve in terms of leading figures in the admin and reporting of the game up here?

Did we ALL do something wrong in a past life to deserve Keith Jackson?

Bear in mind that Sultana Boy was the one who referred to Eggert as being just another member in a cast of faceless thousands!

The Scottish,(or should I say Glasgow),press are all the same.

Iain MacFarlane of The "Glasgow" Daily Express writes:- "Walter Smith praised El Hadji Diouf for keeping cool after being welcomed to Scotland like a serial killer- and then hacked by Hearts's serial offender Ian Black."

Isn't it good that the Huns are represented by such upright sportsman as Naismith, Lafferty, McCulloch, McGregor etc.

I look forward to Diouf carrying on that great tradition. :whistling:

Anyone see the photo in the Metro of El Hadj Dive when Blackie got booked. Shameful.

Not worth getting worked up over. The Record is a weegie paper and Glasgow has a much higher than average number of uneducated dimwits, pumped up on knife-wielding thuggery. Not only is Jackson himself one of these dimwits, he knows he's writing for them. He also knows he's stuck in weegie tabloid land forever because he's nowhere near smart enough to work for a broadsheet. We know he's a provocative prick, so let's just leave the poor wee thicko be.

Keith Jackson is what he is. A guy from Glasgow who writes, and always will write, for the Old Firm fans and is terrified of being outed as a supporter of one of them.

He will read up on any new unknown foreigner who turns up at Celtic or Rangers and try to portray them as superstars but dismisses players at other teams he hasn't heard of as 'faceless'. He probably couldn't name the first teams of every SPL team, despite supposedly being a 'leading' football writer at Scotland's 'leading' tabloid.

His broadcasting career seems to have died as have't heard him on the GBC for a while.
