"This great club"

Er

Great clubs do not go 110 years without winning their National trophy.

Great clubs have fans going through the turnstiles.

Great clubs do not sit (almost) rock bottom of the SPL

Great clubs are not laughing stocks.

Great clubs have great players

But you have to remember the great Hibernian flair, scoreboard, first team to have floodlights, first to wear green etc. Most importantly you must bear in mind that most of them are in-bred halfwits likely to be totally of their tits.

It's the Hibernian way

Don't forget the first British club to accept an invite to play in the inaugural European cup (they finished 5th that season)and play against 7 'also ran' clubs that accepted the same invite.

shame on you :teehee:

He either doesn't know what the word unprecedented means or he has only just started supporting Hibernians.

They haven't won in 12 games - hmmmmm does he not remember not beating Hearts for 18 games then a few years later 22 games.

"We all have a role to play. The players take centre stage, directed by the Manager and his coaching staff. It is their performances that can inspire us. But as supporters we also have a role - to create an atmosphere that welcomes and encourages our players to perform at their best. That positive sporting but robust atmosphere can also intimidate visiting teams. We have all noted the passion and noise generated from the stands this season - a support that, no matter what the results have been, continues to make noise and drive the team on. Being part of this makes us Hibernian, and with that support, we can motivate players on to better things, to winning games. Let's continue to create that 'home advantage' for our team."

11 Hibernian 23 4 4 15 21 42 2 4 5 9 18 2 0 10 12 24 -21 16

2 wins and -9 goal difference from 11 home games. Just imagine how bad they'd be without that "home advantage"?

Notice that he doesn't specify that it's the home support stands that he's talking about!

I do recall one spell of "passion" - mostly involving the way they launched their life savings at an opposing player - they seemed pretty passionate about that.

Football is not about winning - its about throwing coins at folk. Its the Hibernian way.

Massive own goal by not mentioning the score board right from the outset imo.

What a fuddish rallying call to the vermin.
