we really don't look good for this game :\! what kind of position would we be in if the worst was to happen and we lose tonight?

We'd be ten points behind Celtic and 5 points behind Rangers... ?

We need to beat Celtic tonight and beat Rangers in a week to have any chance of challenging for the title. Otherwise we'll be in the Europa League come the end of the season, which I think most Hearts fans would've delightfully accepted at the start of the season.

Its only half time - we've not lost yet, 1-0 down last week at Killie after a poor first half

Exactly. We were shocking first half against Killie and never troubled Rangers at the weekend but still came away with 6 points.Have faith!

Maybe push for 2nd?

I'd be very happy with third but it would have been sweet to have beat Celtic & given people a scare for a while longer.

Oh well.

Well clear in third. Just need to pick up as many points as we can. Being purporting hearts now for 27 years and have known some disappointing seasons. Finishing 3rd this year will be one of the best years. European adventures to look forward to.

We'll saunter to 3rd and enjoy wins most weeks i'd imagine.

What a hardship!

Spare a thought for the Hibbies eh...

Lose tonight and thats that tbh. We'll finish 3rd. JJ has to get torn into them at half time thats been woeful

calm down. speaking as if a loss is the end of the world. celtic and rangers still have to play twice so points will be dropped. a loss here tonight isnt the end.

this, with St J at home and the OF in cup semi's its a chance to bring the gap down again.

TBH the defeat was coming, we have rode our luck in the last 2-3 games but it is not the end of the world, it is disappointing but some you win some you lose. We are a couple players short of what we need to achieve and when we have to bring on players like Obua it says it all but there is still a long way to go in the season and we have done well. We need to bounce back on Saturday.

Look having got 3 points at the weekend we are 1 point better off than i had hoped for against the gruesome twosome esp given the rabid way they are going on at parkhead tonight. No need to go into meltdown remember to treat the two imposters ( winning and losing) with equal contempt. besy scouse accents now calm down calm down
