Rudi Skacel
We could also have been first if we had won every game this season.
wright1989
Vladmir Romanov has done an excellent job for Hearts. If it wasn't for Vladmir Romanov we wouldn't have anywhere near the standard of players we have. Hartley 200k Wallace 500k Driver 300k Temps 700k Zaliukas, Kello and Mrowiec wouldn't be here. Gordon 1M at most. You wouldn't have even heard of Skacel.

scott_jambo
Romanov didn't banish Zal. Hearts players know the rules when they sign on the dotted line. Don't muck about over contracts or you will be picking splinters out your cheeks. JJ is in agreement with this. Marius understood this concept, Jose kind of did. Webster learnt the hard way. Boomstick
We would currently be first if we hadn't drawn with St. Johnstone and Dundee United at the start of the season...or lost to Kille...or Celtic at Parkhead...Or Rangers last time at Tynie...or scored nine goals in each game. Fact is, we did none of those things so there's no point in even wondering about what things would be like if we had. We've come a hell of a long way in the last 11 weeks. Lets try to keep that going for as long as possible, see where we end up, eh?
Tasavallan
I was going to ignore the silly OP, but what the heck... Hearts would not be where they are today if JJ hadn't given himself a severe talking to after the 3-0 defeat by Killie at the end of October and got the full-back and midfield positions sorted for ER. For the record, Zaliukas and Bouzid were the CBs in that defeat.
