Come on Hearts, time to show the unwashed what we are all about.

Time to stand tall and believe.

Get into them.

'Time for Heroes'?

Sounds like the X-Factor charity single.

Only joking, Wallie.

Come on you Jam Tarts. Give it your all, get stuck in from the start and see victory as an inevitability.

I've had three Hearts dreams in the last few days and all of them have resulted in victory.

?In reading the lives of great men, I found that the first victory they won was over themselves...self-discipline with all of them came first.?

Rangers and Celtic are both there to be beaten. The only thing HMFC have to consider is their own self belief. If the team have that belief, and I personally think they do, there is no reason why the next few weeks cannot go just as everyone hopes and then we really will be in the melting pot.

Correct, one of the big difference between this season and past seasons is that Rangers and Celtic will drop a lot of points between now and the end of the season. If the team have belief in themselves then we can be involved in the title fight right to the end.

Hopefully as supporters we can show our belief in them.

You know when you get old in life

things get taken from you.

That's, that's part of life.

But, you only learn that when you start losing stuff.

You find out that life is just a game of inches.

So is football.

Because in either game life or football

the margin for error is so small.

I mean one half step too late or to early

you don't quite make it.

One half second too slow or too fast

and you don't quite connect with it.

The inches we need are everywhere around us.

They are in ever break of the game

Every minute.

Every second.

On this team, we fight for that inch

On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us

to pieces for that inch.

We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch.

Cause we know

when we add up all those inches

that's going to make the ******* difference

between WINNING and LOSING

between LIVING and DYING.

I'll tell you this

in any fight

it is the guy who is willing to die

who is going to win that inch.

And I know

if I am going to have any life anymore

it is because, I am still willing to fight, and die for that inch

because that is what LIVING is.

The six inches in front of your face.

Now I can't make you do it.

You gotta look at the guy next to you.

Look into his eyes.

Now I think you are going to see a guy who will go that inch with you.

You are going to see a guy

who will sacrifice himself for this team

because he knows when it comes down to it,

you are gonna do the same thing for him.

That's a team, gentlemen

and either we perform now, as a team,

or we will die as individuals.

That's football guys.

That's all it is.

Now, whattaya gonna do?

Come on Hearts, fight for the inches again today and get into them!!

As fans, we need to get right behind the team, appeal for everything.

If Kyle and Skacel play I am confident we will win easily.

Well you are wrong.

Fit or not if we win it will be tough, there certainly won't be an easy win for us!

Celtic capitulated at tynecastle and had nothing in response to going behind.

Rangers wont do that.

A win today would rank as the best result we've had since.... Well I don't know. The best for years.

I'm getting confident, which is rare.

Completely agree however if our best players are not fit all the belief in the world will not make us strong enough to beat the OF. I really hope Skacel and Kyle make it today.

No **** ups is the order of the day. Dont invite their 'cute' players to go down anywhere NEAR the box.

The game will last 95 minutes today ............so lets be prepared to play the last 10 just like the first 10

Thanks for that MrB. Was well up for today and now I'm flippin RARING to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sipping my morning brandy, listening to The Libs and confident the Jambos will give it a right good go today.

As someone said (Vic maybe), Rangers will not capitulate today. No way, they just don't do that, never have. We need to be at them for the whole 90-100 (depending on scoreline at 90) minutes. SHould have beaten them last time, missed a chance and switched off to let Naismith run 50 yards untouched. The missed chance can happen today, the second part just can't be allowed to.

About to get suited and booted and got the butterflies in the belly. I live abroad and am back home for a bit at the moment. Man, I've missed this feeling (which, to be fair, no Jambo has properly had since 05/06 other than derbies really!)

Zal should play the Al Pacino speech to the team before kick off...

No disrespect but Jim Jefferies seems to have his own speeches :)

"We are in with the big boys now and they will show us how tough it is...If we want to challenge for the championship, the opportunity is there. Can we? It's in our hands. We have put ourselves in that position. But the question has to be answered. And we have given ourselves the chance to answer it."

Cue Gorgie song.
