WASTREL
Reading a bio of Edin Dzeko at the weekend. It advised he was, at best, at the start a mediocre midfielder for Zeleznicar from 2003/2005 before being converted to a striker after Felix Magath bought him for Wolfsburg. Anyone know if he played against us in Sarajevo? I gave away my team lines that night to my old pal John Kerr so reluctantly have lost that avenue of expertise. If I recall there was not a programme printed but team lines were put together and sold around the stadium in pubs to mad-eyed memorabilia collectors wearing Hearts scarves (you know who you are??) Thinks ....... I wonder if Davie Speed still has the bill board poster that was advertising the match after it magically appeared in the hotel bar that evening???? Anyone help?
