Top scorer Kevin Kyle could be available for Hearts' trip to face Dundee United on Saturday after consulting a specialist today over his groin injury. The Tynecastle striker limped out of the Scottish Cup defeat by St Johnstone on Tuesday night after the problem flared up in the second half of the fourth-round tie. Kevin, who has smashed 10 goals this season for the Jambos, received a cortisone injection today in a bid to ease the discomfort. Depending on how things settle down over the next 24 hours, the front man could be involved in the Tayside clash as Hearts look to bounce back from their shock cup exit. "Kevin went to see the specialist today and it appears the problem is a legacy of a previous injury," said Gorgie No. 2 Billy Brown. "He was given an injection which will hopefully do the trick. We'll see how he is tomorrow and I'm certainly not ruling him out of being involved on Saturday. "He's desperate to play, he loves being involved and we'll give him every chance to make it."
